STEP-BY-STEP
Follow each step carefully.
The instructions below follow the sequence shown in the CLARA Test instructions for use. Complete the process in the order indicated.
02STEP
Open the kit carefully
Carefully tear open the Clara Test Collector packaging and remove the collection vial containing the liquid from the box.
03STEP
Position yourself for collection
Remove the cap from the Collector. While standing, raise one leg with one hand and separate the vaginal labia. With the other hand, hold the Clara Test Collector with your fingers positioned on the marked grips.
04STEP
Insert the collector
Gently insert the collector into the vagina until you feel resistance. Press the button ten times. There is no need to rotate the collector.
05STEP
Transfer the sample
Remove the collector from the vagina, open the vial containing the liquid, and immerse the sponge tip, making sure it is submerged. Press the collector 10 times. When finished, tightly close the vial containing the liquid.
06STEP
Dispose of the collector
Dispose of the Clara Test Collector in regular household waste.
07STEP
Wash your hands again
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
08STEP
Send the sample to the laboratory
Deliver the vial containing the liquid sample to the testing laboratory or healthcare facility/professional, according to the instructions provided where the Clara Test Cellular Collector was supplied.
